Creamy Avocado Salsa- 5 minute blender recipe

This gorgeously green silky smooth salsa takes just 5 minutes and has all the good stuff starting with avocodos.

Equipment

  • 1 high speed blender

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados pitted
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp cumin powder
  • 3 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped
  • 2 green chilis deseeded if you prefer to keep it mildly hot.
  • 1 garlic clove peeled and chopped roughly
  • 1.5 tbsp water

Instructions

  • Halve the avocados, remove the pit and scoop the flesh out into a bowl.
  • Drizzle 1 tsp lime juice on the avocados to prevent them from discoloring.
  • To a blender, add all the ingredients except water.
  • Pulse a few times.
  • Now, add water and continue to blend till smooth.
  • Transfer to a bowl. Scrape the sides of the blender jar using a silicon spatula to scoop all the salsa out without any wastage.
  • Serve immediately with tacos, nachos or burritos.
