Beans Poriyal Recipe. Green Beans Stir Fry
This is a simple stir fry using green beans and fresh coconut. Tastes great with rice and rasam.
- Green beans chopped finely 1 cup I used about 100g of beans
- Dry red chili 2 torn
- Grated coconut 3 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil 1 tbsp
- Mustard seeds 1 tsp
- Hing a small pinch
Microwave the chopped beans for about 10 mins on high or cook on stove top till cooked and tender but firm.
Once done set aside.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add mustard seeds and once they splutter, add the red chilies and hing.
Add the cooked beans next and mix well.
Add salt and grated coconut and combine well.
Cook on medium flame for about a minute.
Serve hot with rice and rasam
