Gourmet Seven Season 2 - Beginning another tongue tickling journey

Well there were seven people once. All bonded by food and making food. They called themselves The Gourmet Seven because they made only gourmet style food. Not everyday. Not once in a week. But once in a month. Just so that they could scratch that incessant itch to make gourmet food. Making such foods on an everyday basis was Utopian. What will the poor gourmets do? Resort to such devious means to make mean food that will make everyone drool copiously and then swoon. Then they all took a break. And while on that long insipid break, they all realised that taking a break was not a brain wave. So they all went on and lured in some more of these gourmet food maniacs.
AND THUS THE GOURMET SEVEN SEASON 2 begins. But with a new name and a new logo and more people hopping on the fun train with us. Well, for starters, we are calling ourselves THE GROOVY GOURMETS this time. We realised that the seven of us were not the only people in the planet who wielded their ladles in the kitchen to cook in style. So when more enthusiastic and like minded inhabitants joined us, we realised that seven is too small a number and we cant call ourselves anything less than groovy. So here we are, all groovy and swanky and suave to cook up some more delicious and exotic food. We are ready to DON THE APRONS and then KICK UP SOME MOJO.
Have a look into our new logo et al.
You all want to know who else joining us? Well, here comes the roster. Each one has carved quite a niche for herself in the blogging world and we are so glad that they are a part of us. Here s some warm welcome to

Jayanthi who blogs at Sizzling Veggies. She not only cooks delicious food but she also knows a thing or two on photographing food. Mother of 2 and a totally organised blogger.

Roshni of Arusuvai Kurippu who takes the world by storm with her expertise in indian food and international food alike. I would like to call her versatility exemplified.

And then there s the usual us.
Radhika of Tickling Palates who does more than tickling your palates. She makes you scurry back into the kitchen to cook.
Veena of Veena s Veg Nation who is not intimidated easily when it comes to making food.
Anamika of Taste Junction who quietly makes statements with her alluring food.
Kaveri of Palakkad Cooking who whips up Palakkad and Persian delicacies with a fervor alike.
Vardhini of CooksJoy who must not actually be blogging but doing more of food photography and styling and making millions
Sangee of Spicy Treats who blogs with a commitment that s unknown to me.
And then there s this ME who can go on and on in a banter and bore the living daylights out of you all. Well, i also cook and click and post. So dont forget that. And in case you want to know more about The Gourmet Seven, click here. For a heads up, our posts will be up in the first week of every month and we shall be cooking from a common source or a common cook book.
So that s our new clique now. And we ve already kick started the season this month. Check out all our blogs to see how groovy we got this month.
In the meanwhile, how can i forget NaBlaPoMo. Today we are thinking of a sleepless and fatigue free life. The catch? You dont get to dream as well. And my say. Dude! how can i live without dreaming? How can i close the avenues to seeing what i cant really have. To enjoy some things that i dont have a chance to enjoy anymore. Of course not. I wouldnt mind a bit of fatigue and i enjoy sleeping too much to even think of foregoing it.
